Fund Raising Projects

Throughout the year, the members of the Stittsville District Lions Club raise monies to support community programs.  The success of each program is entirely dependant upon the support received for each of the following fund raising programs.

Sale of Deluxe Fruit Cakes
Approximately 1,000 high quality fruit cakes and 200 packages of shortbread are sold during the Christmas season.

Rental of Lions Hall
The Lions Hall is rented for receptions, dances, banquets and meetings.  Bar rentals include the services of certified bartenders.

Sale of Chocolate Bunnies
Solid Dark or White Chocolate bunnies are sold at Easter.  Of special interest to diabetics is the new diabetic approved chocolate bunny.

Christmas Cheer Exchange
The Lions canvass local businesses to support the Christmas Cheer Exchange.
