Youth Hearing Screening
At the Stittsville District Lions Club, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare services, including hearing screenings. That's why we offer free hearing screenings to youths in our community.
Our program is designed to identify potential hearing problems early on before they develop into more serious issues. It is essential to identify hearing impairment as early as possible in life. The Digital Pilot Test is an audiometer unlike any other. You can easily screen children as young as three years old and be confident of getting accurate, reliable results. For individuals who require further evaluation, we provide referrals to local audiologists and support them through the process of seeking care.

By offering free hearing screenings, we are helping to promote better health outcomes for the younger members of our community. Undiagnosed hearing problems can have a profound impact on an individual's quality of life, leading to difficulties in communication, social isolation, and cognitive decline. By identifying these problems early on and providing access to care, we can help individuals maintain their quality of life and stay connected to their communities.
